Pork Ribs

I was traveling from out of state and was in Houston for a few days. I checked this place out and ordered the brisket and ribs. The brisket was more fresh than any place I've been to back home, and the sauce that they used to season the ribs is phoenomenal. I'll recommend this place to my friends back home so if any of them ever travel to Houston they can check this restaurant out.

HK Smoked Brisket Tamales

H&K was hopping when I came to p/u the brisket tamales before Thanksgiving. Great food and desserts to add for any gathering! Check out the online Holiday menu for an on time pick up, although I would suggest to come a little earlier to shop for the extras found around the store. Great vibe and friendly atmosphere with staff ready to assist. Thanks for a great experience H&K!

Pitmaster Plate

All the food is excellent and fresh. We had the pit master plate for our family of 4. The brisket was melt in your mouth and each meat and side was seasoned to perfection. We loved the location and cute general store vibes and the music was very nice as well.

Loaded Potato

The baked potato was incredibly fresh and of course, delicious! The portion of meat to toppings was just right, and the baked potato itself wasn't oily. It was very well seasoned. Service was excellent! The staff always makes you feel like family. Every time we dine-in or out it's always a pleasant experience.

Whole Smoked Turkey (10-12 lbs)

This was our second year having the whole smoked turkey and it did not disappoint. Multiple people said it was the best turkey they've ever had and I agree. Even the leftovers were amazing! I made a sausage and turkey gumbo with the leftovers as well as a smoked turkey stock which were both excellent. Highly recommend!

Delicious! Such a cool place with delicious food. We loved the brisket and talked about the chicken for days! Mac and cheese was top notch. So glad we found Henderson & Kane!

Pitmaster Plate

Food was excellent! Brisket was tender, pork was flavorful, and chicken was juicy! My picky eater of a son even approves and he doesnt eat anything except chicken nuggets! The barbeque sauce was delicious! We love the use of tamarind!
